My Favorite Paint Party Supplies
Over the years I’ve hosted countless paint parties, workshops, fundraisers, and creative events. People often ask me what supplies I use, so I created this page to share some of my favorites.
These are products I personally use, have used in the past, or recommend based on my experience running paint parties and creative events.
I’ve tried to include affordable, beginner-friendly options that help make hosting paint parties easier and more enjoyable.

EcoTank Epson 2800 Printer
I use this Epson EcoTank to print all my step-by-step painting instructions and reference images. It handles standard 8.5 × 11 paper, legal-size 8.5 × 14, and smaller photo sizes. The refillable ink tanks last a long time, so you aren’t constantly buying expensive cartridges. A great way to save on printing costs, especially when you print as much as I do!
EcoTank Epson 15000 Printer
The Epson EcoTank ET-15000 is a great option for oversized prints! It handles standard letter-size paper and larger designs up to 13 × 19 inches—perfect when you need extra room! The rear paper feed is handy for loading compatible heavier paper and specialty stock. The refillable ink tanks last a long time, so you aren’t constantly buying expensive cartridges. A great way to save on ink costs when you do lots of printing!
EcoTank Ink
Keep your printing supplies stocked with this CEEBOO 522 ink refill set! It includes five bottles—two black and one each of cyan, magenta, and yellow—for compatible Epson EcoTank printers, including the ET-2800. Handy for printing images, craft projects, and everyday documents without buying cartridges. This is regular printing ink, not sublimation ink!
Reusable Aprons
A good apron is one of those little things that makes a big difference at an event. These reusable aprons help protect clothing, add a professional touch to your paint parties, and come in several fun colors. The pockets are incredibly handy for keeping brushes, paper towels, and even your phone close by so you can easily capture photos and videos throughout your event.
Tabletop Easels – 2-Pack Option
These tabletop easels are one of my favorite supplies for paint parties. They’re lightweight, easy to transport, and provide a comfortable painting angle for guests. They fold flat for storage and setup takes only seconds, making them perfect for classes, workshops, fundraisers, and private events.
Heat-Seal Bags
These self seal bags are a great option when you want your paint kits to look extra professional. Use them to package your paint, embellishments, or small accessories. When sealed, they help keep items clean, secure, and neatly organized. Do not overfill them if you are planning on shipping your kits, and it is better to heat sealed them to avoid spilling during transit.
💡 SILVIA’s TIP: Brushes are one of the easiest places to overspend when building paint kits. These sets provide a nice balance of quality and affordability, making them ideal for paint parties, workshops, and take-home kits.
60-Piece Round Detail Brush Set – 0.47 Inches
These detail brushes are perfect to use on your paint parties and to add to your paint kits. They work great when adding lettering, outlines, highlights, and finishing touches to paintings. I often include detail brushes in paint kits when a project has small elements that require a little extra precision.
Assorted Paint Brush Set (50 Pieces)
The set includes 5 individual packs, each containing 10 assorted brushes in a variety of sizes and styles. I use these brushes for both paint parties and paint kits because they offer great value, good quality, and plenty of variety for different projects. They’re a great option for workshops, fundraisers, schools, and larger events.
Assorted Paint Brush Set (20 Packs / 200 Pieces)
This is one of my go-to brush sets when I need a large quantity of brushes without sacrificing quality. The set includes 20 individual packs, each containing 10 assorted brushes in a variety of sizes and styles. I use these brushes for both paint parties and paint kits because they offer great value, good quality, and plenty of variety for different projects. They’re a great option for workshops, fundraisers, schools, and larger events.
200-Piece Paint Brush Set
I like using these brushes for paint kits because they’re an affordable way to keep supply costs down. They’re a great option for take-home kits, fundraisers, schools, and community events where budget is an important consideration.
These are best suited for paint kits rather than paint parties. For my in-person events, I prefer to use higher-quality brushes that can be reused many times.
💡 SILVIA’s TIP: Packaging can make a huge difference in how your paint kits are perceived. A few inexpensive supplies like cellophane bags, hang tags, and self-seal packaging can instantly make your kits look more polished and professional. 🎨💕
